Francisco Catalan
In the first 15 years of his career, he started his association with NFP in 1978 when he graduated with his BBA with a major in Accounting, working with a state agency auditing credit union then thereafter he begins working directly with a few other NFP’s groups and with professional Advisory Groups, then finally as a CFO and CEO for a state community Credit Union. During that time, he earned a scholarship to CUNA (Credit Union National Association) Management School at the University of Madison, Wisconsin for three years participating and earning his Management Certification for Credit Unions thereafter on international travels to Manchester, City of Rochdale at the United Kingdom, to City of Mondragon at North of Spain and to Canada to study on different workshops, seminars and annual conferences growing his knowledge and expertise into the International Cooperative business model. He had the privilege to have as his mentor for three years, one of the most prominent women in the NFP arena; Dr. Antonia Pantoja, founder of Aspira, a Nationwide Education Institution serving poor communities across the nation. For the last 15 years, he had been professionally associated with Local Government Agencies (City of Leesburg, FL, and City of Winter Park, FL), where he earned the CGFO Certification for Government Officers developing a better understanding of issues related to GASB and Fund Accounting for Government arena); with Churches and other NFP’s assisting on their boards on a volunteer basis and working for some others NFP’s applying for federal tax exemptions mostly for 501(c)(3) and also working with their tax needs, filing their forms 990 when required, since 1997. In 2019 he pursued and earned a Certificate of Non-Profit with three renowned organizations; the AICPA Certificate in Non-Profits, his certification as Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional badge with the Fiscal Management Associates Institute, (expanding to FASB related issues to NFP), and with an NFP Management Certificate at Rollins College with the Edyth Bush Institute.

For over 30 years he has worked in the service area helping thousands of people achieve many of their housing and financial dreams. In addition to training hundreds of people in the areas of social services, education, unemployment, financial assistance, and now in the area of tax preparation and investments. Alves has dedicated a large part of his life to helping and serving different groups and communities not only in the United States and Puerto Rico but also in many parts of Latin America. For more than 15 years he was executive director of the Salvation Army in the United States, one of the largest and most powerful social service institutions in the world whose job is to help low-income communities get ahead and educate themselves and transform their financial lives, educational, emotional, spiritual and family. All these years of service and hard work have resulted in creating together with his wife Evelin and the Puerto Rican businessman Francisco Catalбn, RTC Tax & More, a company that offers a variety of essential services for the community. Evelini J. González
Evelini has worked for more than 30 years in the service area helping thousands of people achieve many of their housing and financial dreams. In addition, Evelin has prepared and trained hundreds of children in Latin America and the United States in the area of education and the arts. Evelini has two baccalaureates, one in education and the other in science. For more than 10 years Evelin was an executive of the Salvation Army in Nashville Tennessee in addition to studying at Trevecca University in Nashville Tennessee and at Logos University in Jacksonville Florida. Evelini currently works as an administrative assistant at RTC Tax & More as well as an office manager.
